Today in class we completed the LOTF essays and began an analysis of the first page of Chapter 1.
Homework: Mark important authorial choices from the first page of Chapter 1 (on the paper, not in your book). Authorial choices can be ANYTHING. Here's what you could consider/mark:
-Figurative Language
-Sentence Structure
-Use of color
-Punctuation
-How each character is introduced
-Use of dialogue
-Narrative voice
Do not limit yourself to this list. Mark at least 15 choices.
