Today in class we did the following:
1. Grammar Quarter 4 Pre-Test
2. Discussed poetic elements: rhyme, meter, etc. and "how to read a poem" (both hand-outs)
3. Read and coded the first two stanzas of Yeats' "Easter 1916".
Homework:
Keep reading your choice novels; your reading and your first two assignments need to be completed by Thursday. Our first group discussion will happen Thursday.
